This download website
This website is hosted by Vercel. Technical connection data, such as your IP address, the time of access and the requested file, is processed to deliver the website and keep it secure. The site includes no analytics tools, advertising trackers or external fonts, and does not set cookies itself. See Vercel’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
Your dictation
When you use your own API key, the Mac app sends your audio directly to the xAI API for transcription, using that key. In this mode, your recording does not pass through a Groktator server. Please read xAI’s privacy policy and the terms that apply to your xAI account.
On your Mac
You can store your API key in macOS Keychain or keep it only in memory for the current session. The app does not save an automatic dictation history. Your latest transcript and recording remain in local memory and are discarded when you quit. You choose whether to save a WAV export. Your clipboard may be synced or stored, depending on your system settings and other apps.
Permissions
Microphone access is required to record audio. Accessibility access is used to recognize single modifier keys outside the app and optionally paste text using ⌘V. Shortcut detection does not store what you type. You can revoke these permissions in macOS System Settings.
Optional subscription
The planned Groktator subscription is not enabled in this beta. There is no account registration or payment flow on this website.

For access, correction or deletion requests concerning data processed by aifuera, contact info@aifuera.de. Manage data in your own xAI account with xAI. You can remove local files and your saved API key on your Mac or in the app.
